Hosea 6:1-3

 

“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds. In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence. Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” Hosea 6:1-3 

I pray you'll see how much the Lord desires for you to come to Him. The consequences of sin are tearing apart, injury and wounds from the disciplined hand of the Lord. Yet He heals, bandages and restores those who come to Him. In Christ, we receive full healing and restoration because He bore our just punishment on the Cross dying for our sins. Thank God for His justice and mercy and love! Will you return to Him for healing? Will you press in to know Him and experience the refreshing touch of a right relationship with Jesus?

These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way. Numbers 33:1-2 NLT I pray you'll take some time to ponder on the stages of your spiritual journey, the progress and the stops along the way. Thank God for His faithfulness, provisions and mercies. When you walk in obedience the Lord orders your steps and is with you every step of the way. When you stray from the way, the Lord lovingly disciplines you and reorients your life back to Him. What is God saying to during this current stage of the journey? How have you seen God's faithfulness, provision and mercies?

Psalm 119:108

  Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:108 NLT  I pray you'll deepen your devotion to the Lord Jesus through reading, mediating, memorizing, studying and obeying His holy Word.
