2 Timothy 3:5

 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! 2 Timothy 3:5

 I pray you'll examine yourself against all of Paul's descriptions of people's behavior in the last days. Especially focus here on verse 5 because these are people who have a form of godliness but deny the power of God in their lives. God empowers His people through the Holy Spirit and He is the key to living a godly life. Stay away from these counterfeits and live a set apart Holy Spirit filled life. How can you stay reliant on God's power? Is there someone you need to stay away from who would have only a form of godliness and deny God's power upon their life?

These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way. Numbers 33:1-2 NLT I pray you'll take some time to ponder on the stages of your spiritual journey, the progress and the stops along the way. Thank God for His faithfulness, provisions and mercies. When you walk in obedience the Lord orders your steps and is with you every step of the way. When you stray from the way, the Lord lovingly disciplines you and reorients your life back to Him. What is God saying to during this current stage of the journey? How have you seen God's faithfulness, provision and mercies?
